There has never been a more important time to
foster inclusion in our communities, societies and businesses. Collectively,
both women and men can unite to create a more inclusive world.
In this informal session,
we will hear from trans man Max Simensen who will share his unique perspective
on how gender is experienced from two different “gender” lenses having
insights from being assigned female at birth and transitioning to a trans man
at 17 years of age. Max will share some of what he has observed after living in
two very different worlds. He will reflect on the obstacles each group
faces, how we can challenge gender stereotypes, call out discrimination, draw
attention to bias, seek out inclusion and how collectively we
can #Inspireinclusion. There will be time for questions and answers, and we
encourage all members to attend.
